Learning To BREATHE

A Mindfulness Curriculum for Adolescents

A powerful program meeting some of today’s most urgent needs for youth, Learning To BREATHE’s website needed transformation from old-school to modern.  The website is now accessible on all types of devices, has a great open, flowing, visually-pleasing design and a much better user experience.

We re-tooled the information architecture and took our design cues from pre-existing branding already on books and other products.

On the old site, pages were visually almost indistinguishable, information was hard to find, and the site was not mobile-friendly.  The owner added new information as it became available, but needed a better structure and contemporary look and feel to make her book, related workshops, trainings, feedback, and research easily accessible.

UPDATE: Learning2BREATHE is preparing for expansion, a major component of which includes community-building.  We have created and built-out a MailChimp account, an autoresponder, and several templates.  This is connected to a prominent sign-up form on the website.  And we have re-located and re-tooled the social sharing function so that it gives the newsletter form all the glory while still being easily accessible itself.

Website Features:

  • Fully Responsive/Mobile-Friendly
  • Easy site navigation

  • Contact Form to protect site owner’s privacy

  • News/Blog

“I contacted Heather because I had seen her beautiful work on other websites. She was the perfect website designer and coach for me. She listened to my ideas and worked thoughtfully with me to modernize my website. I  love the site, which is now beautiful and adaptable to my needs. She also coached me with a lot of patience and good humor as I learned to take more responsibility for its care and maintenance. Heather is amazing to work with, and I highly recommend her.”
